Fees
Please Note: 24-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations as a time commitment was made to you and was held exclusively for you. This also allows me the time to offer the appointment to another client who is waiting. There will be a half-session charge for all late cancellations and a full-session charge for no-shows. Thank you for your understanding.
Individual Counselling
$150/hour
Individual counselling (sometimes called psychotherapy, talk therapy, or treatment) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. The BFT does not offer family, or couples counselling.
EMDR Counselling
$150/hour
EMDR is a psychotherapy technique used to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. EMDR follows a standard protocol, The BFT will review if EMDR is a good treatment plan for you. For more information visit emdria.org.
Case Consultation
$180/hour
If you are a healthcare provider looking for specific case consultation on gender identity/exploration or sexual identity/exploration, please contact me to arrange a consultation via phone, secure video platform or in person. I will also offer consultation through a barter agreement, if applicable.
A Note About Insurance
Please Note: I only directly bill Blue Cross Insurance plans. For any other insurance provider (i.e., Sunlife, Manulife, Green Shield, etc.), you will need to pay the total cost of the session upfront and then submit your receipts for reimbursement to your insurance company directly.
A Friendly Reminder: It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider to see if they cover "clinical counsellors, psychotherapists, or licensed counselling therapists".
